Plain answers about how Ajnadayn Institute teaches, who our courses are for, and what to expect from a live cohort.
We teach from primary sources where possible, in plain English, without dumbing down the material. Our courses are small cohorts, not pre-recorded lecture banks. Our Library holds long-form essays, summaries, and articles — not listicles.
Live courses run as small cohorts over four to twelve weeks with weekly sessions. Self-study materials — reading guides and archived essays — are available at your own pace.
Most of our beginner courses assume only a general familiarity with Islam. Intermediate courses expect you to have read at least one introductory history text. Each course lists its level explicitly.
Students who complete a live cohort receive a certificate of completion, each with a unique verification ID.
Yes. Enrolled students receive session recordings for the duration of their cohort. We still encourage live attendance for discussion.
We are based in the United Kingdom and teach students worldwide via Zoom — from the UK and North America to the Middle East, South Asia, and beyond.
